Hello #edcmoocers! I'm Ary from upstate New York. I'm a high school teacher and technology integration coach. I was visiting the #ETMOOC orientation which launched this week to decide if I wanted to MOOC with them. I learned so much in that one hour orientation about the purpose of MOOCS: the importance of building personal/professional learning communities, taking leaps of faith and entrusting our learning to others and vice versa...overcoming our fear to learn in public digital spaces, "sharing everywhere", forming our own MOOC identity and the list goes on and on. The facilitator asked participants to consider several things as they embark on the journey. What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts and use this as another learning space. Thank you to Madhura Pradhan who created this wiki a few months ago. Now, that there are over 1000 of us, why not begin to engage in a collaborative writing piece to define our EDC MOOC identity...or explore other topics...any suggestions. http://youtu.be/ebtGRvP3ILg
